Did you know? For the first time in Saskatchewan history, First Nations Chiefs from across the Province, the Premier, Saskatchewan Cabinet Ministers and Members of the Legislative Assembly gathered in December of 2007 at Provincial Legislature to share in a traditional celebratory feast. Cabinet The provincial cabinet is a decision-making body led by the Premier. The cabinet is also known as the Executive Council and, in Saskatchewan, the Premier is President of the Executive Council. Each cabinet minister is appointed by the Premier, and has responsibility for a department or portfolio. The current cabinet team is made up of 18 members.
